Just a note with regard to the beta of the new-look Picard tagger; it seems to default to a different set of tags. Using the sort line shown below fixed things for me after I unwittingly retagged under the new scheme. The only difference is the substitution of "ALBUMARTISTSORT" for "MUSICBRAINZ ALBUM ARTIST SORTNAME".

$if(%MUSICBRAINZ_ARTISTID%%MUSICBRAINZ ARTIST ID%, ,)$if($strcmp(%MUSICBRAINZ ALBUM ARTIST ID%%MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMARTISTID%,89ad4ac3-39f7-470e-963a-56509c546377),%album% - %MUSICBRAINZ ALBUM ID%%MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMID%,%ALBUMARTISTSORT%%MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMARTISTSORTNAME% - %MUSICBRAINZ ALBUM ARTIST ID%%MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMARTISTID% - %album% - %MUSICBRAINZ ALBUM ID%%MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMID%) - %album% - %tracknumber% - %album artist%

Thanks again.

Nice post. I just ran across this today; your suffering has now made things much easier for me. Thanks!
